Carbonated water coolers can also dispense the normal chilled or hot water and are the most flexible water cooler solution. The Water Cooler Company can arrange to send out replacement C02 dispensers in line with our delivery and sanitisation services.
The carbonated water coolers that we supply are only available as a plumbed water cooler - there are no bottled water coolers that carbonate water.
The carbonated water cooler is connected directly to the mains water supply with discrete food-grade flexible tubing. This means the water cooler can be positioned many metres from the mains water without the need for additional plumbing. The water passes through an activated carbon water filter on its way to the water cooler and is then dispensed through the taps in the normal way. The activated carbon water filter is effective at reducing chlorine, certain organic compounds and unpleasant tastes and odours from the mains water. You can expect smooth, fresh-tasting water from your carbonated water cooler.
Installation and servicing of plumbed water coolers.
After the free site survey has been completed and we have agreed on the location of your water cooler, we will arrange an appointment for our installation engineer to install your cooler. If any additional plumbing work is needed, then we arrange for our professional plumbing contractors to complete this for you. All plumbed water machines have a filter change and sanitisation every six months by one of our trained, experienced engineers.
Considerations for the installation of a plumbed water cooler
You need to have access to a potable mains water supply as well as a standard 13 amp electrical plug socket where you want the water cooler situated. We will talk you through these considerations when we carry out your site survey.
You need to replace the C02 tanks within the water cooler on a regular basis. This can be done by our engineers within the M25 but outside London customers will have to replace their own C02 tanks. The Water Cooler Company can put you in touch with a local supplier who can deliver the tanks to you.
