It is something that The Water Cooler Company strongly support customers in using.

“The scheme is administered by the Save a Cup Recycling Company. With more than a billion cups collected so far for recycling, the company’s objective is to increase the number of cups collected in line with Government targets for recycling packaging waste.“

The Water Cooler Company supply a wide range of plastic cups, paper cups and cones for customers across London who use them alongside water coolers. Unfortunately for business in London there are very rarely options which enable businesses to recycle as this facility is rarely provided by local councils – leaving business with little recycling options.

To fill this gap the largest companies within the vending and water cooler industry formed the Save-a-Cup scheme which allows customers to have cups collected from their premises on a regular basis – and then taken directly to a suitable recycling facility.

Save-a-cup also provide a range of suitable bins and accessories which help customers to ensure that the cups are stored in suitable places for cleaning or facilities staff to centralise disposal and collect cups in preparation for collection.
