Summer Cold Blues and your Plumbed in Water Cooler

September 1st, 2010
your plumbed in water cooler will make your lemsipWhatever your plans for the summer months, there is nothing that thwarts them quite like a stinking summer cold. A runny nose, puffy eyes and a lack of sense of smell/taste really does put a dampener on things. If you find yourself tucked up in bed feeling sorry for yourself, take comfort in the fact that your plumbed in water cooler can provide everything you need to help you along with the road to recovery- hot water for your favourite cuppa, or to dissolve your four-hourly dose of Lemsip (which is your favourite flavour?), and nice cold water for when you’re feeling a little hot under the collar/need your temperature bringing down a bit. To improve matters even further, we would recommend enlisting someone sympathetic to run up and down the stairs for you, to fetch anything you need and to help you get better as quickly as possible. Or, if you haven’t already invested in a plumbed in water cooler, they can at least open the door to our engineer, and remain enthralled as they watch in wonder at the short time it takes to get your machine up and running.
For more information on our products or service, or would like to share some of your fave cold remedies with us, please give us a call, or leave a comment at the bottom of our blog.

Scouts keep their Cool in America

August 25th, 2010
The National Scout Jamboree is something pretty special for all those dib dib dibbers and dob dob dobbers across the United States, as thousands gather on an army base, to celebrate the history of the association, and the ways in which it’s helped so many young people pick up life skills and have a great time, throughout the years it’s been running. This time around, measures have been taken to ensure that those who are taking part do not suffer from heatstroke, as so many did at the 2005. To help the youngsters along, each tent has a colour-coded chart, indicating how much water must be drunk in accordance with the temperature, as well as several refreshment stations being set up around the site, to provide much-needed liquids. Not only this, but scouting leaders are continually checking that supplies on offer are being taken advantage of; with all the activities and excitement, it is all too easy for participants to lose track of when they need to be drinking, and how often.
If, like the Scouts across America, you want to keep yourself and your family wonderfully hydrated and healthy in the heat this summer, why not have a think about investing in a plumbed in water cooler. Just give us a call or drop us an email, and one of our team will be on hand to help.

Plumbed in Water Cooler is Malaria Safe house

August 18th, 2010
plumbed in water cooler checks are happening in LudhianaHere at The Water Cooler Company, we pride ourselves on many things, including our customer service, and the ways in which we keep up to date with each and every plumbed in water cooler we supply to businesses and homes in and around London. Ordering new accessories, such as cups and cup dispensers, can be done quickly and easily, and when a filter change is necessary, we’ll automatically arrange for this to be done.
Unfortunately, not everyone around the world is keeping up the standards that we set for ourselves. In Ludhiana, India, as cases of malaria in the city are gradually increasing, health officials are warning that hygiene levels must be maintained, in order to help prevent healthy members of the public becoming victims. Along with warnings and campaigns to increase awareness of the problem, spokesmen from the Department of Health are visiting public sector buildings, including hospitals, to check for larvae in any plumbed in water cooler, or those with bottles attached, to see if there is any link to the rapid spreading of the disease.
If you’d like any more information about how we keep our coolers clean and safe to drink from, or have experienced the problem in Ludhiana first hand, please do get in touch or leave a comment at the bottom of our blog; we always love to hear what our readers have to say.

Plumbed in water coolers Subject to Cuts in Hospitals

August 11th, 2010
We’re all more than aware of the cuts that have been made in recent months, across the public sector, to help rectify the effects of the recession on the UK, and worldwide. For many, this has unfortunately meant being made redundant, and for others, changes have been made to their office environment, such as cutting costs with a plumbed in water cooler instead of a bottled machine, sometimes even getting rid of this necessity all together.
A recent report in the Irish Independent told of the water cooler units now being removed from hospital waiting rooms, with the Mid-Western Regional Hospital, Letterkenny General Hospital and Sligo General Hospital being the first, in possibly a large number of healthcare facilities, to suffer the cut-backs. Others are sticking with their plumbed in water cooler, as staff and patients alike need to be refreshed at regular intervals throughout their working and waiting lives.
If you have been directly affected by these cut-backs, in Ireland’s hospitals or elsewhere, please do let us know what your experience has been by sending us an email, or leaving a comment at the bottom of our blog. Or, if you’d like more information on getting a plumbed in water cooler for your home or office, we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

We know that even with our beautiful website, and our weekly blog all about the wonderful plumbed in water cooler, some of our dedicated readers and fans still want to know more about the daily goings on in and around the office of The Water Cooler Company. To those special people, we can gladly say “the wait is over”. We have installed a webcam which links straight to our office, so you can see Tom popping over to the kettle to make a cuppa, Sean receiving his delivery of filters, and Rob singing along to Britney (or whichever diva is the flavour of the day). We like to think that by doing this, our loyal customers can feel a bit more in touch with us, and put some faces to names- which is what our business ethos is all about, as customer service and general friendliness is our priority.

Plumbed in Water Cooler stops play for Saints Star

July 28th, 2010
We can safely say that any plumbed in water cooler we supply here at The Water Cooler Company are not hazardous. That is, unless one gets outraged and kicks the unit, thus potentially putting one at risk of causing damage to one’s toe or foot area. Sadly, this is exactly what happened to one American football player, who got a little agitated in the locker room at the end of last year’s season. Jeremy Shockey, who plays for the New Orleans Saints got a little frustrated after the team lost yet another game, and thus swung his foot at the plumbed in water cooler situated in the locker room, thus breaking his toe. Apparently this was not even the end of it, as Shockey then engaged himself in arguing with the coach about not being able to play in the next couple of games, owing to his injured digit. Hmmm.
All we can say on this matter is, please, dear reader, if you ever feel like you’re at your wits end, and just want to scream, please do so- instead of taking it out on your water cooler. We recommend soft things for punching, such as mattresses and cushions, or you might find yourself being left out of a game or two…

July 21st, 2010
One of the things we pride ourselves on here at The Water Cooler Company is that we can (and do) provide coolers, chillers, and hot taps for people all over the country, in residential addresses and for businesses. Part of this is our wonderful customer service and follow-up care that we offer once you’re a client of ours, and part of it is being able to cater for a wide range of people, with different needs and requirements.
It may be that you’re looking for a handy plumbed in water cooler for your family home, in order to keep your significant other, and possibly the kids if you have some of them too, lovely and hydrated all year round. It may also be the case that you’re concerned about the suitability of having a cooler in the house with little ones running around, who may release the hot taps and scald themselves on the water that comes out. Never fear. We can provide you with child-proof taps for your plumbed in water cooler, meaning you can let the little darlings run riot in the rest of the house, without worrying about keeping them safe from harm.

Redbridge council switches to Plumbed in Water Coolers

July 14th, 2010
As budgets and spending money for local councils up and down the UK are cut by the new coalition government, Redbridge council is reviewing its spending on bottled water throughout the last few years, and is planning on saving money and previous resources by switching to plumbed in water coolers for their offices. The decision has come as one of many, following a report that in 2009, the council spent £41, 607 on bottled water, as well as thousands more on refreshments for meetings. Further embarrassment came earlier in the year when Mayor of London Boris Johnson refused a glass of the bottled water, saying that is was unnecessary to drink from the coolers when the taps would suffice.
In a climate of money-saving and, for many businesses and organisations, working out what the priorities are for a tight budget for at least the next twelve months, why not let us fill you in on how one of our plumbed in water coolers might be able to help. Not only will the coolers’ classy designs add something stunning to any environment, but you’ll have hot and cold water at your fingertips, twenty-four seven. Just pick up the phone and one of our friendly and efficient team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Things That Come from your Plumbed In Water Cooler

July 7th, 2010
There are many reasons we love water; the energy it gives us, how it makes our skin feel lovely and clean and bright, the ways in which is quenches our thirst so perfectly without pumping us full of sugar or additives, as is the case with so many drinks on the market these days. We also love all of the products which contain water, some of which you may be able to create yourself with the help of your plumbed in water cooler, and we wanted to introduce you to a few of them:
Water biscuits: Deliciously light and dissolving in the mouth, these cheeky, low-calorie biscuits are completely versatile, and perfect with any topping you’d like to try.
Fruit tea: We’re not talking from a bag, we mean pieces of fruit cut up and brewed in hot water from your plumbed in water cooler. It really is that easy to make it yourself, and your friends and family will marvel at your resourcefulness.
A swimming pool for your action figures: Not strictly a product that contains water, but loads of fun nonetheless. All you really need is a bowl and some toys, and the kids’ imaginations will do the rest. Perfect as a summer holiday boredom-buster.
If you’d like any more information about our products or service, or have any other watery loves that you’d like to share with us, please do get in touch!
