The National Scout Jamboree is something pretty special for all those dib dib dibbers and dob dob dobbers across the United States, as thousands gather on an army base, to celebrate the history of the association, and the ways in which it’s helped so many young people pick up life skills and have a great time, throughout the years it’s been running. This time around, measures have been taken to ensure that those who are taking part do not suffer from heatstroke, as so many did at the 2005. To help the youngsters along, each tent has a colour-coded chart, indicating how much water must be drunk in accordance with the temperature, as well as several refreshment stations being set up around the site, to provide much-needed liquids.
